A big thank you to everyone who has signed my online petition seeking a reversal of the cuts imposed on BBC Radio Norfolk by corporation executives. Along with volunteers I've been delivering petition cards highlighting the changes to our local radio station to households across the Great Yarmouth constituency. Many residents have been in contact to let me know how important local radio is in their everyday lives. 

One local businessman put it this way, "Thanks for championing the continuation of a full local radio service from the BBC. BBC Radio Norfolk is an essential part of daily life for our residents and of course our visitors."
