More jobs is the key for greater prosperity for families across the Great Yarmouth constituency. That’s why I’ve consistently supported government policies that encourage investment into the area. Convincing the then Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne, to create an enterprise zone for the town was an important step forward in attracting new funding, welcoming new companies and creating new jobs.

My regular Jobs Fairs have attracted thousands of local people seeking new job opportunities and advice on looking for employment. Each Jobs Fair is supported by a variety of local businesses and training providers. It’s a great example of how, as the Member of Parliament, I take real action to help local people.
