One of the joys and privileges of being Chairman of the Conservative Party is meeting so many activists, councillors and volunteers across the country. Last summer the Young Conservatives, an essential and vital part of the Conservative family, was reformed and relaunched. These young people will be the future office holders, councillors and parliamentarians of the world's most successful political party. They invited me along to their conference in Nottingham, where I had many exciting conversations and heard great policy ideas for the future. Who knows maybe I rubbed shoulders with a future British Prime Minister?
