Youth Unemployment falls in Great Yarmouth

Following the news that unemployment has fallen by 24% in Great Yarmouth since last year, I welcome the even larger fall in youth unemployment.

The number of 18 – 24 year old Great Yarmouth residents claiming Job Seekers’ Allowance has fallen by 28% since March last year.

I am very pleased by the big fall in youth unemployment in Great Yarmouth. Leaving school and finding work or continuing in education and training is a major step for young people. This fall is an encouraging sign that more and more local young people are finding the path that they want to take and are laying solid foundations for their future careers.
