I made it to the gym this week, my first time as a gym member in some time and I did enjoy it.
I have always preferred to be outside running in the fresh air, even in the coldest part of winter….I love the frosty mornings (though not so keen on the wet ones). But, I will admit that the ability in the gym to flex between the bike and the treadmill to do a ‘brick’ session was very useful.
Hopefully next week I will also find time to swim as well. I mainly joined the gym to get use of a 20 mtr pool, but the equipment will prove useful too. This weekend I hope to get out in the fresh air for at least one run and I suspect I will stick to the turbo trainer for another bike session.
