Flegg High School visit the Houses of Parliament

Last Thursday I met staff and students from Flegg High School in the House of Commons.

The group had been on a tour of the Houses of Parliament and had an interactive session with the Parliamentary Education Service where they discussed campaigning and democracy.

The group asked me lots of questions about life as an MP, the issues that face Great Yarmouth, the sort of problems that a Member of Parliament can help with and what it is like to debate in the House of Commons.

It was a real pleasure to meet the Flegg High group. The kids asked some great questions and were obviously getting stuck in to the campaigning activities put on by the Education Service. They were great ambassadors for their school and I look forward to visiting Flegg High again soon.
